Winter is my favourite time of year hands down. But my skin might not agree. I have naturally dry skin, so when the temperature starts decreasing my skin goes like the Sahara desert.. like no joke. And I am always in search for the best skin products to keep my skin healthy and dewy all year round.
For the last couple of weeks I have been trying out a few products from the Simple kind to skin range. And I must say I'm impressed.
The first product I am going to talk about is my favourite, and that is the kind to eyes makeup remover. This stuff is crazy good! I have quite sensitive eyes and most makeup removers tend to irritate them. But this stuff doesn't and it removes my makeup soooo easily (and I wear a lot of eye liner!) I would easily give this product a 9/10.
The next product I tried is the kind to skin moisturising facial wash. I'm not going to lie I am normally a fan of scented facial washes. But what this lacks in scent it gains in how soft it makes your skin feel! I use this after I have took all my makeup off and splashed my face In warm water. I then just squeeze a bit onto my finger tips and apply to my face in circular motions. The other plus side to this product is that it is moisturising, so adds another bit of help to my dry winter skin. My only downside to this product is that I personally prefer face washes that come in premade pads that are no mess to apply, for that reason I would give this product a 8/10.
The final product I used from this range is the kind to skin replenishing rich moisturiser. This isn't the best moisturiser I have ever used but it most certainly isn't bad! for this price this product is amazing, and I'm sure it would work much better for someone with dry/normal skin rather then just dry. The one thing I will say about this product is that it soaks into your skin sooo quickly! which is a good thing when your in a rush and your don't want your face to be all shiny from your moisture. Plus no one likes it when there face feels all oily from there moisturiser. Over all I would give this produce a 6/10 but would recommend it to someone with normal - normal/dry skin.
No matter what you say about these products they are great value for money and I really cant wait to try some more products from this range!

This week has been both a bit crappy and blood brilliant at the same time. so I wont bore you as to why it has been crappy but I will most certainly tell you why it has been good.
Tuesday 17th September- the day that Tanya Burr re-blogs me on tumblr.
I know your probably thinking I'm making a big deal out of nothing; but Tanya burr is my idol! she is the reason I have this blog and the reason I love makeup like I do. I'm not very skilled at anything. I'm not academic, I'm not sporty, and I'm not very good at arts and crafts. But when I started watching Tanya's videos and started recreating her looks; I started to realise I really enjoyed doing makeup and I wasn't that bad at it either. On the first of January 2013 I recreated one of her looks and tweeted her a picture to which she replied, I quote:
"cute! Xx"
To which I ran round my house screaming.... Any way to the point. This week was London fashion week and Tanya went to several events. One being the mulberry show; where she was sat next to Douglas Booth and Alexa chung (a mahussive woman crush of mine). So I posted a picture of the Three sat next to each other on tumblr and she re-blogged it! that's pretty much it, but if you knew me you would know how exciting this is.
Harry Styles at London fashion week!
ehhem what!?!?! Harry styles looking bloody brilliant at lfw? Yes please!
Mr Styles made three appearances at lfw and I must say my favourite has to be when he went in just his white T-shirt and black jeans.
Harry wore some different(?) looks this week including a leopard print T-shirt. That's right. Leopard print. I wasn't the biggest fan but lets face it, he would look good in a bin bag.

I know this was shorter then usual but I'm not very well and have go a lot of work to do so yeah :)
This week I went on a 2 night trip to London. Now without a doubt London is my favourite place on planet earth and have been for quit a few years; I hopefully one day I will be able to live there. Since I have been to London many times before I didn't really bother with all the tourist stuff and the trip was mainly an opportunity for me to shop....
We got there about twelve O'clock on Thursday, straight away we dropped our bags of at the hotel at took three tubes to Harrods. The reason for this trip was because the one direction fragrance was released in Harrods before any where else; and obviously being the MASSIVE directioner I am, I couldn't miss out the opportunity to get my hands on it while I was there. The section dedicated to our moment was amazing, it included a wall where everyone who purchased the fragrance could write there own short message to the boys, a photo booth and best of all the actual chair that Louis Tomlinson sat on in the advert for the fragrance! So after buying the largest bottle on offer we took the tube to oxford street, which was when the real shopping started. But before tackling the many streets that many streets that oxford street had to offer, we made our way to Covent garden. Whilst there we decided it was time to get some food, so we searched for somewhere to eat, until we found a stand selling crepes. We got our crepes then went and sat down on the pavement (we couldn't find anywhere else to sit) by some other people. Whilst we where sat there stuffing our faces to women walked up to us with MTV Tshirts on and started to talk to us about being on a new show. They spoke us trough what the show would entail and that I was a confidence building show where girls would be flown off to different countries and given makeovers. But it was then that they said that you had to be within the age group of 16-24, which me or my friend are not. So I'm not going to be on MTV.
Basically the next few days where spent shopping and I got to go to my favourite shop on planet earth Monki on Carnaby Street :D
The VMA's....
Oh wow.... The VMA's..... what a night that was...
Lets start of with the most talked about bit of the night. Miley Cyrus.
What happened there? I am still in disbelief at what she did. All jokes aside, she was my childhood idol. Then there she was with hardly any clothes on, grinding on a 36 year old married father. Like what ?
But if anything good came from her performance, it is the amount of bloody hilarious edits which involve her during her performance and her father saying 'dang flabbit'.
Taylor swift ... oh Taylor Taylor Swift.
Now I'm not going to lie, I have never been a massive Taylor Swift fan, but iv ever largely disliked her either. Evan when she was going out with Harry Styles, I wasn't bothered. But it was after her little accent dig at the Grammys that I started to think maybe she wasn't the nicest person on planet earth, but would you be if you had a new rumour made up about you every week? Then Came her acceptance speech for 'I Knew you where trouble' at the other nights award show, where she said
"I want to thank the person who inspired this song, who knows exactly who he is, because now I got one of these(referring to her moon man)"
To which the camera panned straight to Harry Styles to was clapping with a smirk on his face. Now even though everyone is saying that she was referring to our hazza, the song was actually reportedly written about John Mayer. But hey who knows? Then there was the whole her saying 'Shut the f**k up' while one direction where on stage talking about there fans, but would she really be that stupid to say that when she knew cameras where everywhere? I don't think she would, plus there is at least one of her songs that everyone can relate to.
Last but not least... One direction
The beautiful boys where booed as they walked on stage to collect there award for song of the summer, as many thought the award should have gone to Robin Thicke for 'blurred lines'. But the boys didn't let this bring them down, collecting the award with pride. Later on the boys where filmed having a conversation with Lady Gaga, in which she basically told then they deserve everything they have and not to take any notice to the booing crowd.
Dis be us.....
This week the much anticipated one direction movie 'this is us' was realised in cinemas world wide. So of course, I went to watch it. The film shows the boys while on there much talked 'take me home' tour. Evan though it show lots of heart touching personal moments, the main bit that made me well up was when it showed the boys performing 'teenage dirtbag'. This is probably because A that's my favourite song ever, B that was my favourite bit of there concert this year and C the sexy little air guitar thing harry does while they are performing the song.
But any way you should go and see the film because if you don't like them it will probably make you like them and if you already like them it makes you realise that they latterly are just normal boys with great voices and amazing opportunities.
person of the week...
My person of this week this week is the one and only Beautiful lady Gaga. She is my person of the week this week because I believe that she really does show people not to care about what other people think about you and to be yourself. Plus who else could pull of that shell outfit ?

This week I went to the sea side town of Brighton, it was interesting....
I don't know what I was expecting but to sum it up it is like Blackpool but a bit posher. I went with my parents which made the fact that there was a sex shop on every other street a little bit awkward, but there was some really cool vintagy (I don't think that's a word) shops which was probably was the best bit of the trip.
Chanel 4...
As you will know if you have read any of my previous blog posts, I am a pretty big one direction fan. So when I found out that there was a documentary going to be made about one direction fans I was rather excited. I had recorded the program ready to watch it the next morning. But when I woke up the next morning and check my twitter and instagram I was greeted with the hash tag #riplarryshippers trending. I further investigated into what was going on and all that I could make out from the millions of the tweets was that the documentary the night had caused controversy and rumours where spreading that a certain number of fans had taken there own life due to this. I was so confused and thought the best thing to do was watch the program and see what was going on, by the time the program had finished the rumours had made it on to the news and I had several family members ringing me asking me if I had any idea what was going on. If I'm honest I'm still not completely sure, all I know is that Chanel 4's representation was unfair and unrealistic.
Miley Cyrus...
Miley Cyrus was number one this week with 'we cant stop'. I love the song but I cant help but reminisce to the Hannah Montana days and personally my favourite song of hers '7 things'. what a song.
person of the week...
My person of the week this week is the most adorable male on planet earth Liam Payne .He is my person of the week this week because when all the palaver was going on with the documentary, he was the only band member that acknowledged what anything was going on and told us we had nothing to be embarrassed about.

So it is finally the summer holidays in England! and I am planning on it being a fun filled one so I am going t blog about it as much as I can. I have had this week as a relaxing week so I thought why note fill you in on all the thing that have caught my attention this last week.
Numero uno - this week has been a bust week for directioners with the release of there new music video, the boys 3 year anniversary as a band, and the news of a makeup range. So first of all lets talk about the music video. It was partially written by James cordon who for those of you who don't know was one of the writers of the TV show Gavin and Stacy. So whether a one direction fan or not it can guarantee you a giggle. The video sees the boy take on characters the complete opposite to themselves, which even includes Zayn Malik taking on the role of a woman. The video broke the vevo record for the most amount of views in 24 hours raking in 12.3 million views!
second - Kate Middleton gave birth to a baby boy! but this wasn't just any baby boy this is the future heir to the throne of my home land of Great Britain. I fee as a Brit I should be a lot more excited by this news then I am. Don't get me wrong I am delighted for Kate and wills: but this just means we are one step further from prince Harry running this country one day (which I'm not going to lie is a dream of mine). But anyways Kate and will showed baby George to the world the other day, Kate looked beautiful as ever considering the fact that she had given birth like 2 days before.
trois- I got tumblr..... I know what you thinking, why would we care that you got tumblr? but I thought that tumblr whould just be like instagram/twitter/gifboom mixed into one. But no. Tumblr is a scary place. It is also the place where I realised that some one direction fans are the scariest people on planet earth. Here's a story.... So I had just got tumblr I didn't really know what to do, so I did what I would normally do and typed 'one direction' into the search bar. The one of these things called 'imagines' came up and I started reading (for those of you who don't know what imagines are they are creepy arse stories wrote about a person/people). This particular one was written about Harry Styles and I was interested at to there it was going; so I carried on reading till it started to get very graphic about you no what. I have never been more confused/creeped out/disgusted in my whooole life. so yeah. Tumblr is scary.... person of the week My person of the week this week has got to be the beautiful Talia Joy Castellano, who sadly lost her battle with cancer 2 weeks ago. Having lost a family member to cancer who was so young I can understand but never imagine what it was like for her to go through. But Talia did so much in trying to raise awareness to her illness and she really should be an inspiration to us all to show that even through the toughest times we can still stay positive.
Video of the week I seen his video for the first time a couple of days ago. It is an amazingly talented artist using both pencil and water colour to create the most amazing picture of the beautiful 5 Seconds of summer member and well known pal of Harry Styles Michael Clifford.

On the first of march I went to see Example with three of my best friends, and it ended up being one of the best nights of my life. We went straight from school to my house to get ready and then when we were on the way there we stopped for a mcdonalds. When we got to mcdonalds we went to the drive threw and orderd 3 boxes of 20 chicken nuggets..... yes that right 60 chicken nugetts. Which the car behind us and the staff of mcdonalds found rather amusing. Any way we ate our nuggets on the way there and about half an hour later we made it to the M.E.N. We got to our seats and watched the support acts and when it came time for example to come on stage, a group of about 7 drunk women came and occupied the seats next to us. By the time the first song (kickstarts) had finished the group of women next to us had left after one of them falling over, and there was one of the funniest guy ever ,who didnt stop dancing sat in front of us who had came with his girlfriend and her rather embarresd/good looking younger brother. Any for the rest of the night example was amazing! and at one point asked us all to put our arms round the people next to us, which was fine for me because i was stood between to of my friends. But one of my friends was sat next to a rather creepy boy who no matter how far away she moved kept trying to put his arm around her, which was very amusing, but he eventually got the message and stopped trying. When the concert finally finished, we realised that are tour t-shirts which we had purchased earlier, where coverd in beer from which the person behind us had spilt during the concert. But we still put them on any way. One of my friends dads picked us up and on the car journey home we thought it would be fun to call up the radio station we were listening to, so we did. We ended up having a conversation with the radio presenter about the night and they told us our interview would be played in 20 minuits. By that time (11:45) we had reached my house and we all ran in screeming and headed straight to the kitchen to turn on the radio. My friends dad was still waiting out side so 2 of my friends had to leave, but my best friend was staying at my house. When the interview was finally played at some time around 12O'clock me and my friend were jumping and dancing around my kitchen becaus they put on 'changed the way you kiss me' by example on straight after. When we finally got to bed, we were going throught instagram when we seen a picture that example had put on of the crowd frow the show we had just been to, with the caption 'Manchester. Best show of my career. Thanks so much' which just topped the night off.

Over the last few months I have been to a few concerts, some of them better then others. The first concert i went to ths year was Justin Bieber, I woudent exactly call myself a belieber but hes okay. I went with my best friend who is like the biggest Justin Bieber fan ever so the night was going to include tears at some point. The first support act was cody simpson! who I was very excited to see, then it was carly rae jepson who was okay but not as good as cody(obviously). Then when Justin finally came on stage the whole croud was screeming, apart from the little girl next to me who had fallen asleep by this point! He was really good especially when he sang never say never, and evan i shed a tear when he sang fall. Jess :)Xx
